The Stockholm Resilience Centre together with the Resilience Alliance and the Beijer Institute, hosted the fourth triennial resilience conference on 21-23 August 2017, at the Waterfront congress centre in Stockholm.

The conference gathered more than 1000 global experts to discuss resilience as a key lens for biosphere-based sustainability. A main focus has been on global sustainability challenges and opportunities, which today are heavily influenced by the speed, scale and connectivity of the Anthropocene.
