SwedBio at Resilience 2017
SwedBio has been actively involved in the Resilience 2017 conference in Stockholm 20-23 August 2017
The Stockholm Resilience Centre together with the Resilience Alliance and the Beijer Institute, hosted the fourth triennial resilience conference on 21-23 August 2017, at the Waterfront congress centre in Stockholm.
The conference gathered more than 1000 global experts to discuss resilience as a key lens for biosphere-based sustainability. A main focus has been on global sustainability challenges and opportunities, which today are heavily influenced by the speed, scale and connectivity of the Anthropocene.

11:00 – 12:30 – Room 26. Session Transdisciplinary methods to incorporate different perspectives or benefits of actors, chaired by Pernilla Malmer
13:30 – 15:00 – Room 24/25. Session Weaving Social Justice into Resilience Theory & Practice; Linking Local Cases and Global Levers to Propel Sustainable and Equitable Transformation, chaired by Anne Salomon and Claudia Ituarte-Lima. Maria Schultz and Maria Tengö facilitate the World Cafe part of the session
